Last week on Monday 4 devotion on understanding opportunity part 1 https://tikiawithgrace.com/2021/04/26/understanding-opportunity/we learned that
The true image of our faithfulness is not in how we treat what is ours but what belongs to others. Today it’s about the dissatisfied light bearer. Inspired by the Holy Spirit through our guest Prophet Ezekiel Kayondo
Dissatisfied Light Bearer
One of the things I always pray for is the opportunity, God willing, to come at last to see you. For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord.
Many people have died pregnant with songs they did not sing, visions they did not see or write, dreams they did not fulfill or interpret, love they did not share, faith they did not use, treasures within they never exploited, gifts they did not use…. These are dissatisfied people!
A man may be gifted and extremely anointed but yet die without ever impacting the church and the world the way they ought to in the perfect will of God!
Paul in our theme Scripture opens our eyes to a jewel of wisdom, He carried a Spiritual gift that could help the Romans grow strong in the Lord, This gift was in Paul, the Romans were not aware of it, perhaps they were weakening in the Lord but God had placed that which could empower them in a vessel called Paul, but see, Paul realised that He could depart from this life without ever Imparting that gift to the Romans if God had not given him THE OPPORTUNITY, So he sought for that prayerfully always!
He chose to pray always for the opportunity, God willing that he may come at last to see the Romans!
Things don’t just happen, visits don’t just happen! We don’t just go to places! Places don’t just accept us!
Think about how many things would go right when Paul was granted such an opportunity, think also about how many things would go wrong!
That’s the picture!
Gifts, callings, anointing thrive on the wings of Opportunity!
Zeal can consume a man and even kill him if that man never gets the opportunity to express what has consumed him!
The things of God carry fire that never settles in a vessel until there is opportunity for those fiery things to be released!
Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But [His word] was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding [it] back, And I could not.
A burning man requires opportunity to light others up! Without that, that man is a dissatisfied light bearer!
If God did not open up opportunity for John the Baptist he would have died with his fire in the wilderness, who would have known him, oh! We would miss out on such a great fire, Israel would have missed out on such a crowd pulling and Reviving anointing in the spirit of Elijah! Yes, what was upon John required OPPORTUNITY!
Time, days, seasons, months, years, people, creation bring with them opportunities, God uses them as instruments of opportunity! He hides it in there!
Opportunity is spiritually discerned, sometimes it’s hiding in the trial, sometimes it is hiding in the evil hour, evil day, evil month, evil year,
Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.
But before all this occurs, there will be a time of great persecution. You will be dragged into synagogues and prisons, and you will stand trial before kings and governors because you are my followers. But this will be your opportunity to tell them about me.
Many of the opportunities are in the places, things, people you wouldn’t naturally want to associate with or identify with! Be in the Spirit!
Opportunity is a mystery, it is revealed to one and yet hidden from another, your eyes must be open to see, your ears must be open to hear, your heart must be open to perceive, you must discern opportunity!
Gifts don’t know palaces and glamour, they know Opportunity, Anointing doesn’t seek grandeur but places of expression! Treasure those places of expression God has given you.
Whatever God placed in you is there not just for impression but expression, and inward satisfaction is a product of continual outward expression of those good things which are inward!
Opportunity is the bridge between the secret place and the public place! Most of what we receive in the secret place from God, requires a public opportunity of expression!
Your voice, Your mind gifts and skillful wisdom needs opportunity to be revealed, it doesn’t matter how wise or crafty you are!
If you miss opportunity you miss relevance! If you miss opportunity you miss that which makes great men inside great men outside!Prophet Kayondo Ezekiel
Pray always for opportunity, but when it comes seize it, treasure it, make the most of it!
Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity.
Next week Monday we conclude this series on opportunity.
Be kind, Be humble, Spread love.
